Partners in Health

Partners in Health’s mission is to provide a preferential option for the poor in health care. By establishing long-term relationships with sister organizations based in settings of poverty, Partners In Health strives to achieve two overarching goals: to bring the benefits of modern medical science to those most in need of them and to serve as an antidote to despair.

Partners in Health (PIH) will leverage its extensive clinical knowledge and strong government relations to provide technical advisement to the team related to clinical linkages. PIH’s Technical Advisor will guide the Health Promotion Manager and Program Officer and liaise jointly with them with key government entities such as the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Rwanda Biomedical Council. PIH will also provide all of the training and capacity building directed to Community Health Workers (CHWs) and other relevant MOH staff and will engage with USAID/Twiyubake for all five years of the program.Read more
